Eating ‘Weed’ Hazardous to Pet’s Health

Politicians found to be illegally spending taxpayer money, Senators suddenly being exposed with lovers other than their spouse, movie stars caught drugged out; easily create excuses and fake remorse once they are caught and face a guilty verdict.  There are times in all our lives that we have to decide once and for all what we stand for and what our identity really is.

If you believe in an optimum diet for your pet then follow your belief no matter what the “real” cost!  If you want a raw diet without the initial cost, use road kill; and pay later.  Obey the “real” rules and not those made up of groups that are on the fringe of reality and nature.  Most people want everything to happen and then suddenly appear before their eyes without any effort.  The unfortunate ‘motto’ of some people and majority of companies is “Put a band-aid on it!”

Many Kibble diets are cheap, convenient, and apparently satisfying for many pet owners; but they come with the hidden cost in a pet’s quality of life, extreme veterinary costs ,and a certain social responsibility, for the actions associated with all the steps involved with the manufacturing of the low quality Kibble products.

Remember, they can't pack their own lunch. They trust us to feed them right.

Social responsibility of using a Dead, Dying, Diseased product is forgotten, just as illegal downloading of music, purchasing fake brand name products, and “cheating the system.” Flashy marketing and expensive packaging of products leads us in the wrong direction.  The fate of our pets should not be trusted to those just looking to ‘make a buck’.  There are a set of values that make up a great company and great people.

In Iowa we have had so much rain everything is growing like crazy. Lawns look beautiful; lush, green after cutting, but upon close inspection they are all weeds.  That means in about the middle of August the weeds will start to look stemy, brownish, spotty and unsightly. While the rain is plentiful, weeds look great as long as they are kept cut.  Pets, while young, can look great and seem to thrive off of a poor quality diet.  The real truth reveals itself much later on in life when the ‘weeds’ have had time to grow.
